February 2017 Kansas City Housing Market Report from the Kansas City Regional Association of REALTORS® and Heartland Multiple Listing Service.

Highlights from the February data include:

February 2017 average sales price for new & existing homes combined ($210,432) is 9.5% higher than February 2016.

There were 1,973 home sales (new & existing combined) for February 2017 – 3.1% lower than last February (2,037).

Home inventory (new & existing combined) for February 2017 (6,561) is 22.1% lower compared to February 2016.

The supply of new and existing homes for February 2017 is 2.0 months representing a home market favoring sellers.
